Taking family photos is such a special and important event. It documents you and your families growth. Quite literally! Children grow so quickly, and with professional photos that freeze time, you can be sure these images will be cherished and something that is shared with future generations. Photos are also a powerful way to relive memories. They bring us back in time and connect us with the story of those who came before as well. Imagine how you've perhaps looked at your grandparents photos. This too will be the use of your family photos in the future.

How can we cherish our family photographs?
share and display
My recommendation to my clients is always to share their photographs with family and friends, whether that be on social media or in print form. Over the last 10 years of my journey to become a portrait photographer, I've come to cherish printed images over all. This might be canvas photos that become artwork in your home, or printed 4x6" photos that can easily be sent with a sweet note to grandparents. With the majority of my family being abroad, simply sending a note with a photo "snail mail style" means much more than a text. Another way to cherish your family photos is to print small (or large!) albums and to share these with your family, such as aunts and uncles or grandparents! A simple 10x10" photo book makes a perfect coffee table and conversation piece.
